Linden JOBS

Studies have shown that 30% to 40% of people receiving temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) benefits have significant disabilities, such as learning and intellectual disabilities, and mental health issues. Linden JOBS provides individualized wrap-around case management services with a focus on helping people achieve and sustain employment.  Specially trained Independence Specialists identify each participant’s skills, knowledge and abilities, ensures that each person is connected to the community supports that can help stabilize their lives, and helps with career guidance and assessment, job seeking skills training and job retention.

Our goal is to help TANF recipients obtain good jobs so they can care for themselves and their families.

Eligible participants must receive TANF benefits and have a documented disability. Annually, 20-30 individuals are served in this program.
